HOW TO GET TO KANHA


There are daily flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Jabalpur from where it is a 2½ hour drive (160 kms) to Kipling Camp. There are also daily flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata to Nagpur (a 260 km, 5½ hr drive). From Jabalpur there is also a direct flight to Indore. There are good overnight trains to Jabalpur (the nearest railhead) and Nagpur.
 

TRANSPORT


Chauffeur-driven hire cars (usually air-conditioned Toyota Innovas) can be arranged to meet guests at Jabalpur, Nagpur, Bilaspur, Band- havgarh, Pench, etc.
Kipling Camp has comfortable 4WD Gypsys to take guests on safaris inside Kanha National Park and Tiger Reserve.
 

FROM NEW DELHI


Daily non-stop flights to Jabalpur on Kingfisher Airlines, and 3 flights a week on Air India. A number of airlines also have daily flights from Delhi to Nagpur. There are good overnight trains from Delhi to Jabalpur - the Gondwana Express is the best (dep.14:30 arr. 6:10).
 

FROM MUMBAI


Daily non-stop flights to Jabalpur on Kingfisher Airlines and Air India. Outbound Kingfisher flights stop in Indore. JetLite, IndiGo and Air India also have non-stop flights to Nagpur. There are a number of overnight trains to Jabalpur and Nagpur.
 

FROM PUNE


There is a non-stop flight from Pune to Nagpur by IndiGo and a 1-stop flight from Pune to Nagpur on Kingfisher Airlines.
 

FROM KOLKATA


Daily non-stop flights to Nagpur by IndiGo Airlines. There are also daily overnight trains to Jabalpur, Kanha and Bilaspur (which is a 6 hr drive from Kanha).
 

FROM HYDERABAD
